Confirming your email when you sign up

When you sign up with an email and password, FieldFlow sends a link to that address. Your account starts once you open it. The screen says Check your email and names the address it went to.

Signing up with Google or Apple doesn’t need this step.

Where the link takes you

The link always opens in a web browser, even if you signed up in the phone app. It signs you in and takes you to setting up your business.

• Signed up on the web: open the link in the same browser and carry on with setup.
• Signed up on the phone: finish setting up in the browser the link opens, or go back to the phone app and sign in. Your email is confirmed either way.

If the link opens in a different browser from the one you signed up in, the sign-in page says “If you just confirmed your email, sign in to finish setting up.” Sign in and you’re through.

The email didn’t come

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Choose Resend email on the Check your email screen. You can resend once a minute; the button counts down until you can.
• Typed the wrong address? Choose Use a different email and sign up again.

If you see “Too many emails sent. Wait a minute, then try again.”, wait a minute and resend.

Signing in before you’ve confirmed

Signing in with an unconfirmed email shows “This email hasn’t been confirmed yet. Open the link we sent you, or resend it.” Choose Resend confirmation email to get a new link.

The link doesn’t work

A link that has expired or was already used shows “That link has expired or was already used.” Sign in. If your email still needs confirming, FieldFlow offers to send a new link.

“Looks like you already have an account with this email”

That address is already signed up. Sign in instead, or use Forgot password? if you don’t remember the password. See Ways to sign in.
