Track your time in the crew app

Your hours go on the job you worked. The office sees them and can put them on an invoice.

Use the timer

1. Open the job from My Jobs.
2. On the Time entries tab, tap Start Timer.
3. Tap Pause for a break and Resume to carry on.
4. Tap Stop when you’re done. FieldFlow asks Add a note? Type what you worked on and tap Save Note, or tap Skip.

A running or paused timer also shows in My Time, with Pause, Resume and Stop.

You can have one timer at a time, and a paused timer counts. To start a timer on another job, stop the one you have first.

Add time by hand

Forgot to start the timer? Add the time yourself.

• On a job: on the Time entries tab, tap Manual Entry.
• In My Time: tap Manual Entry and pick the job.

Choose the date, enter the hours and minutes, add a note if you like, and tap Save Entry. You can’t add time for a future date.

See and fix your hours

My Time lists your entries by day, with your total for this week. On a job, Total Hrs and Unbilled Hrs show your time there. Unbilled hours aren’t on an invoice yet.

• To change an entry, tap it in My Time, change the times, date or note, and save.
• To delete an entry, swipe it left.

Once an entry is on an invoice, it’s locked. You can’t change or delete it. Only the office can delete it.

With no signal

Starting and stopping the timer, adding time by hand and deleting an entry work with no signal. They save on the phone and go up when you’re back online.

Pausing, resuming and changing an entry need a connection. An entry you added with no signal can be changed once it has saved. See Working with no signal.

Before you mark a visit complete

Stop your timer first. FieldFlow won’t complete the visit while a timer on that job is running or paused.
